WILDLIFE REMOVAL & EXCLUSION IN EAST TEXAS

Most wildlife doesn’t break in – they find existing gaps or weak points:

Damaged or missing roof vents. Gaps where the roofline meets the walls. Holes in soffits or fascia. Damaged chimney caps. Gaps around pipes or utility lines.

Once they find a way in, they’ll use it repeatedly. And they’ll make it bigger over time.

Our Wildlife Removal Process

Inspection and Assessment

We start by figuring out what you’ve got and where they’re getting in.

Walk the exterior looking for entry points, damage, tracks, droppings. Check the attic or crawlspace for nesting areas and activity.

We’ll identify the species (matters for trapping and exclusion methods) and give you a clear plan.

Trapping and Removal

We set live traps based on the species and situation. Bait them appropriately. Check them regularly.

Once trapped, we relocate the animal (when legal and appropriate) or dispose of it humanely according to state regulations.

For bats, we use exclusion devices that let them out but not back in. Can’t trap bats – they’re protected.

Exclusion – Sealing Entry Points

This is the most important part. If you don’t seal entry points, new wildlife will just move in after you remove the current occupants.

We repair damaged vents, cap chimneys, seal gaps with metal flashing or hardware cloth, install one-way doors if needed.

We use materials wildlife can’t chew through. Spray foam and caulk don’t cut it – squirrels and raccoons will tear through that in minutes.

Clean-Up and Sanitation (When Needed)

Heavy wildlife activity leaves contamination – droppings, urine, destroyed insulation, nesting
material.

For serious cases, we offer attic restoration, clean-up and sanitation. Remove contaminated
insulation. Disinfect. Deodorize.

Not every situation needs this, but if you’ve had raccoons living in the attic for months, it’s worth
considering.

Why DIY Wildlife Removal Usually Fails

You can buy traps at the hardware store. You might even catch something. But unless you seal
the entry points, another animal attracted to the air flow or scent / pheromones left behind will
move right in.

Plus, handling wildlife is risky – bites, scratches, diseases, getting sprayed by a skunk.
And some species (like bats) are protected. Remove them wrong or during black-out months
while young bats are present and not yet capable of flying and foraging nightly with adults and
you could face legal issues or a lot of dead bats left in a structure.
