BED BUG TREATMENT IN CROCKETT, PALESTINE & SURROUNDING AREAS

Get Rid of Bed Bugs for Good
Finding bed bugs in your home is one of the most stressful pest problems you can deal with.
They’re hard to eliminate, they spread fast, and they affect your sleep and peace of mind.
Here’s the truth – bed bugs don’t care how clean your house is. They hitch rides in luggage,
used furniture, even on clothing. Anyone can get them.
But not everyone knows how to get rid of them effectively. That’s where we come in.

Why Bed Bugs Are So Hard to Kill

Bed bugs are experts at hiding. During the day, they squeeze into cracks in bed frames, behind headboards, inside electrical outlets, under baseboards.

They come out at night to feed (on you). Then they disappear again.

They’re also resistant to a lot of over-the-counter pesticides. What worked 20 years ago doesn’t work now. You need professional-grade products and a thorough approach.

And they reproduce fast. One female can lay hundreds of eggs in her lifetime. Miss a few during treatment and you’re back to square one in a couple months.

Signs You Have Bed Bugs

Bites

Small, red, itchy welts – usually in a line or cluster. Often on arms, legs, shoulders, back. Not everyone reacts to bed bug bites, so you might not even know you're being bitten.

Live Bugs

Bed bug fecal matter – looks like tiny black or brown dots on mattresses, box springs, or nearby furniture.

Blood Spots

Tiny blood stains on sheets or pillowcases from crushed bed bugs or bite sites.

Shed Skins

Bed bugs molt as they grow. You might find their shed skins near hiding spots.

Dark Spots

Small, flat, reddish-brown, about the size of an apple seed. Hard to spot unless you're specifically looking for them. If you're seeing any of these signs, don't wait. The longer you wait, the worse it gets.

Our Bed Bug Treatment Process

Inspection and Assessment

First visit is all about finding out how bad it is. We inspect the bedrooms, furniture, baseboards, outlets – everywhere bed bugs hide.

We’ll ask questions too. When did you first notice them? Have you traveled recently? Bought any used furniture?

This helps us figure out where they came from and how widespread the infestation is.

Preparation Requirements

Bed bug treatment requires prep work on your end. We’ll give you a detailed checklist, but here’s the basics:

Wash all bedding, clothes, and curtains in hot water. Dry on high heat for at least 30 minutes.

Vacuum thoroughly (then throw away the vacuum bag immediately in an outside trash can).

Remove clutter from bedrooms – bed bugs love hiding in piles of stuff.

Pull furniture away from walls so we can treat behind it.

This isn’t optional. If you don’t prep properly, the treatment won’t work.

Treatment Application

We have a combination of methods at our fingertips. Our preferred method is a biological
treatment that has changed the game in bed bug treatments. We can also deploy residual
insecticides, dust applications in wall voids and cracks, and sometimes steam treatment.

We treat the mattress, box spring, bed frame, headboard, baseboards, furniture, carpets – basically every surface in the room.

We also treat adjacent rooms because bed bugs spread. If they’re in the master bedroom, they might have moved to the spare room or living room.

Follow-Up Treatments

Bed bugs can require multiple treatments.
Our preferred treatment includes a follow up inspection and if necessary treatment 30 days after
the initial.

What You Need to Do After Treatment

Don't put your bedding back on immediately. Wait until everything's dry and we've cleared the room.

Continue washing and drying items on high heat regularly.

Don't bring used furniture into the house without inspecting it thoroughly.

Use mattress and box spring encasements. These trap any remaining bed bugs inside and prevent new ones from infesting.

Reduce clutter – less stuff means fewer hiding places.

How Long Until Bed Bugs Are Gone?

Most infestations are under control after the initial treatment in 30 days.  Heavy infestations might take longer with an additional treatment at the 30 day
anniversary.

You will still see a few bed bugs between treatments – that’s normal. They’re hatching from eggs
and the biological product is a non repellant and works a little slower.
That’s why follow-up treatments are critical.

Why DIY Bed Bug Treatment Usually Fails

We get it – you see bed bugs, you panic, you run to the store and buy every spray you can find.

Problem is, most store-bought products don’t work on bed bugs. And even the ones that do kill
on contact don’t have residual effects- meaning they don’t keep working after you spray and
oftentimes drive the bedbugs deeper into their hiding spots often scattering the infestation to
other rooms.

Plus, if you spray randomly, you’ll just scatter the bed bugs to other rooms. Now instead of one infested bedroom, you’ve got three.

Save yourself the frustration and money. Call us from the start and do it right.

Bed Bug Treatment Costs – Why It’s More Than Regular Pest Control

Bed bug treatments are more expensive than regular service. Here’s why:

Multiple visits required. Specialized products. Way more time per visit. Intensive preparation and application.

We’re not trying to gouge you – we’re telling you what’s required to actually eliminate bed bugs.

It’s an investment, but compared to throwing away furniture, living with bites, and the mental stress of dealing with them for months? Worth it.

Preventing Bed Bugs After Treatment

Once they're gone, you don't want them back. Here's how to avoid reinfestation:

Inspect hotel rooms when you travel. Check mattress seams, headboards, furniture before unpacking.

Keep luggage off the floor and bed when traveling. Use luggage racks or the bathroom.

Inspect used furniture before bringing it home. Seriously – free furniture isn't worth a bed bug infestation.

Use mattress encasements. They're cheap insurance.

Reduce clutter in bedrooms. Makes it easier to spot problems early.
