I contacted Critter Gitters this morning to help me eradicate a huge wasp nest on the front of my house and around the eaves of my roof. They kindly came out a couple of hours later, killed all of the wasps, and sent me a picture of the nests. Now THAT’S service!!! Wouldn’t use anyone else!! We have used Critter Gitters for years and wouldn’t think to go elsewhere. They are extremely detail oriented, down to the de-webbing of the whole exterior of our home. They are always extremely professional and punctual (which is a huge must for us). I couldn’t recommend a better company than Critter Gitters!

Joey Baker was highly recommended by the realtor who sold me my house. I saw what looked like termites, but Joey came right away and identified carpenter ants. I saved some dead ones in a zip lock bag for him to look at. He and his team treated the inside and outside of the house. It only took 2 treatments to get rid of the little critters. Don't do what I did. When they first started trailing out of the wall, I sprayed pesticide on them. Joey let me know to let them trail, otherwise they will go back in and make another colony.

I love Bentley's more every day. They called to offer a special for winter HVAC check which was great for me since I just bought this house and it wasn't previously maintained well. We found I needed a drain line flow switch, and they went and picked one up and came back within minutes. They also offer a service agreement for 2 visits per year, which includes cleaning the condenser unit, 10% off parts and no after hour rates. We are going to pull/clean the evaporator until and blower wheel next visit. Bentley's is professional and shows up when they say they will. I love the reminders and having an invoice with the detail is awesome. Their team is very personable and easy to work with. What I really love is if they see something wrong, they tell you up front, instead of waiting until something breaks down (unlike my last AC vendor). Thank you Bentley's for taking such good care of my new home and my wallet!
Grapeland’s got its own personality. Quiet. Peaceful. Great for folks who want space and a slower pace.
But the pests didn’t get that memo. Fire ants still take over yards. Mosquitoes swarm near the creek and wooded areas. Termites find their way into older homes. And if you’ve got outbuildings or land, you’re probably dealing with rodents or wildlife too.
We’ve been handling pest problems in Grapeland since 2006. Not a national chain. Just Joey and his team taking care of neighbors across Houston County.
Spring hits and the mounds pop up all over the place. They’re aggressive, painful, and they spread fast across your property.
Our Premium and Elite plans include fire ant treatment up to 20,000 sq ft. Keeps them knocked down so your kids and pets can actually use the yard.
If you’re anywhere near the creek or you’ve got trees around your property, mosquitoes are relentless from April through October.
Monthly mosquito treatments make a huge difference. We use barrier sprays and In2Care stations to hit them where they breed and where they rest.
Grapeland’s got some beautiful older properties. Unfortunately, termites love them too.
Moisture, wood-to-soil contact, old foundations with cracks – all invitations for termites. We do inspections, treatments, and Sentricon monitoring systems.
Raccoons, squirrels, possums – they’re all over Grapeland. And they love getting into attics, sheds, and crawlspaces.
We trap, remove, and seal up entry points so they don’t come back.
Every property’s different. Small home in town doesn’t need the same approach as a place with acreage and multiple buildings.
Usually do fine with our Essential or Premium Plan. Quarterly treatments handle ants, roaches, spiders, and the regular pests. Add fire ant treatment and rodent stations with Premium.
More land means more pest pressure. Fire ants across multiple acres. Wildlife near wooded areas. Outbuildings that attract rodents.
Premium or Elite makes more sense here. More coverage, more protection.
If your house was built before 1990, you’ve probably got gaps, cracks, and entry points that pests exploit.
We seal what we can during treatment. For bigger exclusion work (keeping wildlife out permanently), that’s a separate project – but we handle it.
Quarterly pest control covering ants, roaches, spiders, and everyday invaders. Interior and exterior treatments. Web and wasp removal up to 15 feet. If covered pests come back, we do too – no charge.
Everything in Essential plus rodent bait stations, fire ant treatment up to 20,000 sq ft, and wasp nest removal up to 30 feet. Better for properties with more pest pressure or ongoing issues.
Complete protection. Everything above plus full Sentricon termite monitoring and carpenter ant treatment. For folks who want total peace of mind.
Add mosquito control or lawn care to any plan and save 10%.
Lots of older properties in Grapeland. Wood siding, crawlspaces, storage areas – spiders love all of it.
We treat inside and outside, knock down webs, and hit the areas where they’re actually living. Not just spraying and leaving.
Big outdoor roaches wander in during dry spells. Small German roaches infest kitchens if they get established.
Outdoor roaches are covered in our regular plans. German roaches need a specialized clean-out – different process, not included in quarterly service.
Mice and rats love barns, sheds, storage buildings. They chew wires, contaminate feed, and make a mess.
We trap, bait, and seal entry points. Can’t just trap forever – you have to stop them from getting in.
They build nests under eaves, in barns, on equipment. We remove nests up to 15 feet (Essential) or 30 feet (Premium/Elite) as part of your regular service.
We’re not rushing through a route trying to hit 30 houses a day. We actually look at what’s going on at your property and treat accordingly.
