I contacted Critter Gitters this morning to help me eradicate a huge wasp nest on the front of my house and around the eaves of my roof. They kindly came out a couple of hours later, killed all of the wasps, and sent me a picture of the nests. Now THAT’S service!!! Wouldn’t use anyone else!! Joey Baker was highly recommended by the realtor who sold me my house. I saw what looked like termites, but Joey came right away and identified carpenter ants. I saved some dead ones in a zip lock bag for him to look at. He and his team treated the inside and outside of the house. It only took 2 treatments to get rid of the little critters. Don't do what I did. When they first started trailing out of the wall, I sprayed pesticide on them. Joey let me know to let them trail, otherwise they will go back in and make another colony.

Mosquitoes
Trees, ponds, livestock water tanks – all breeding grounds. Our Mosquito Duo Defense program treats vegetation and targets larvae to cut populations down.
Rodents and Wildlife
Rats, mice, raccoons, squirrels, armadillos. Rural properties deal with this constantly. We trap and exclude them to keep them out of houses and outbuildings.
Spiders and Wasps
Black widows in barns. Wasp nests on every structure. Brown recluse in storage areas. We treat all of them and remove nests as part of service.
Service Plans for Leon County Properties
Essential Plan – Quarterly treatments for ants, roaches, spiders, crickets, and other common pests. Interior and exterior. Wasp removal up to 15 feet. Guaranteed re-service if covered pests return.
Premium Plan – Essential plus rodent bait stations, fire ant treatment, and wasp removal up to 30 feet. Better for larger properties or ongoing pest issues.
Elite Plan – Complete coverage. Premium plus Sentricon termite monitoring and carpenter ant treatment. Makes sense for properties where you want everything handled without thinking about it.

What Service Looks Like on Rural Properties
Rural properties need more time. We’re treating the house, outbuildings, barns, sheds – wherever pests are active. We’re checking for rodent activity, wasp nests, spider harborage areas.
First visit, we walk the property with you. Figure out what’s going on and where. Then we recommend a plan that actually fits what you’ve got.
Treatments are thorough but not wasteful. We treat where pests are living and where they’re getting in. Not just spraying everything and hoping it works.

“Can you treat the barn and outbuildings too?”
Yep. We treat all structures on the property, not just the main house. That’s where a lot of pest activity starts.
“What about fire ants in the pasture?”
If it’s a large area, we’ll quote it separately. But for yards and high-traffic areas, Premium and Elite plans include treatment up to 20,000 sq ft.
“Do you handle wildlife?”
Yeah. Trapping and exclusion for raccoons, squirrels, armadillos, and other wildlife. Separate service from pest control, but we do it.
“How often do I need service out here?”
Most rural properties do fine with quarterly treatments. If you’ve got heavy pest pressure or specific issues, we might recommend more frequent visits at first.
